Advance Creativity in Learning with PAE's Online Auction
You can find great deals and support arts in our schools, all from the comfort of home. Back by popular demand, the second online auction for Partners for Arts Education (PAE) opens on April 20, and features the work of artists who care about education.
Simply by going to www.arts4ed.org and clicking on the Online Auction link, you'll be able to browse through a wide selection of artwork from regional artists, beautiful custom clothing and jewelry, cultural opportunities, gift certificates for local restaurants and shops, and more.
All the bidding action takes place on line, and the auction runs through May 17. Items will continue to be added during the auction, so it pays to visit frequently to find the best bargains.
All proceeds benefit PAE's programs, which provide funding and support for arts in education in Central New York and throughout the state, including the Arts in Mind initiative with the Syracuse City Schools.
Based in Syracuse since 1999, PAE supports partnerships between schools and artists and cultural organizations of all kinds. Bringing over $2 million in resources to schools, cultural organizations, and artists since 2001, PAE has directly leveraged partnerships in over 130 area schools as matching grants, and also supports professional development to help partners provide the highest quality learning experiences for students.
For more information about PAE's programs and the Arts in Mind initiative, go to their website, www.arts4ed.org.
