Bio: In her many years as a teacher/teaching artist, Connie Walters has taught a wide range of subjects from classroom music to folk dance. She currently teaches in afterschool programs related to Arts in Mind and at Montessori School of Syracuse. Her music performance experience encompasses jazz, pop, classical, and world styles; she currently performs with SU Oratorio Society, vocal trio Virago and Adanfo African Drum and Dance Ensemble. Culinarily speaking, she has worked as a caterer, a personal chef, and in several area restaurants. A NYS certified teacher, she holds a BA in Fine Arts and an MS in Education from Syracuse University.
