Bio:
Jules Gibbs spent most of her professional life working as an editor, writer, and advertising director for publications including The Progressive, The Atlantic, Hudson Valley Magazine, and two weekly newspaper chains in upstate New York. She earned her MFA in Poetry from New England College. She was awarded a writing fellowship from the Ucross Foundation in 2007, and has twice won poetry prizes from the Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Foundation. 

Her poems have appeared in many literary journals including Stone Canoe, Salt Hill, Spoon River Poetry Review, 5 A.M., caesura, The New Anonymous, RUNES, Pearl Magazine, Broken Plate, Seven Corners, and The Alembic. Jules moved to Syracuse in the summer of 2008, and is at work on a first manuscript.
