Target Field Trip Grants

Education professionals employed by an accredited K-12 public, private or charter school may apply for up to $800 for a field trip that will provide a demonstrable learning experience for students.

National Council of Teachers of Mathematics:
Using Music to Teach Mathematics Grants for Grades K–2

Up to $3,000 will be awarded to individual K–2 classroom teachers or small groups of collaborating teachers. Proposals must address the combining of math and music, the plan for improving students’ learning of mathematics, and the anticipated impact on students’ achievement. The applicant must be a current NCTM member or teach in a current K–8 NCTM member school.

Toyota Tapestry Grants for Science Teachers

Proposals for large (up tp $10,000) or mini-grants (up to $2,500) should demonstrate creativity, involve risk-taking, possess a visionary quality, model a novel way of presenting science, and promote exciting and innovative activities to motivate students in science. Proposals may include multidisciplinary or interdepartmental participation.

American Association of School Librarians Innovative Reading Grant

The grant of $2,500 supports planning and implementation of a unique and innovative program for children (grades K-9) that motivates and encourages reading, especially among struggling readers.  Applicant must be member of AASL.

National Education Association Foundation Student Achievement Grants

Grants provide $5,000 to improve the academic achievement of students by engaging in critical thinking and problem solving that deepen knowledge of standards-based subject matter. The work should also improve students’ habits of inquiry, self-directed learning, and critical reflection.

Muzak Heart and Soul Foundation Music Matters Grants

Grants focus on educational reform in school music programs and independent music programs.  Music education – vocal or instrumental – must be the key component of any music program requesting funds. Public school programs serving a minimum of 70% low-income students OR non-profit programs directly funding music education should apply.

Chamber Music America's Residency Parnership Program

This program supports live ensemble music in rural, urban, and suburban communities. Dynamic collaborations and non-traditional partnerships among ensembles, presenters, and community-based organizations are encouraged, including workshops, ensemble coaching sessions, lecture/ demonstrations, and/or concerts not part of a regular series. Applicant must be member of CMA.

Jordan Fundamentals Innovation Grants

PTA Mary Lou Anderson Reflections Arts Enhancement Grant

History Channel's Save Our History Grant
