Delavan Center Presents Benefit for Partners for Arts Education

(Syracuse) Delavan Art Gallery will present a "Fashion Walk" to benefit the nonprofit Partners for Arts Education (PAE) as part of September's exhibit "FASHION FASHION."

Partners for Arts Education inspires learning and leadership for arts-in-education in Central New York and throughout New York State. They provide funding and support to deepen and enrich educational experiences in and through the arts for students, teachers and artists. Last year they granted over $35,000 to Central New York schools that brought artists and educators together to teach to the NYS Standards.

FASHION FASHION, an exhibit presenting fashion as fine art, will feature the work of area designers, fabricators, jewelers, fashion illustrators, fashion photographers and theatrical costumes by Syracuse Stage. The fashion walk will take place during, and as part of, the exhibit.

What: A Fashion Walk of cutting-edge art by area designers produced by Carmel Nicoletti
Where: Delavan Art Gallery, 501 W. Fayette St., Syracuse
When: Saturday, September 16 at 6:30 PM
Ticket Price: $50 (tax-deductible) with proceeds going to Partners for Arts Education
What To Expect: Catered Food and Drinks at 6:30 PM, Fashion Walk at 8 PM, Raffle of Fashion Accessories by participating artists to benefit PAE, Two Lovely MCs, Models, Area Designers, Fashion as Art, Lots of fun!
