Partners for Arts Education
Announces Appointment of Fran Hradil
as Director of Strategic Development
(December 10, 2007; Syracuse) Partners
for Arts Education is pleased to
announce the appointment of Fran
Hradil as their Director of Strategic
Development.
In this newly created role, Hradil
will be responsible for the development,
management, implementation, and evaluation
of a fund-development program to
strengthen the capacity of arts-in-education
partnerships between cultural organizations
and schools and in collaboration
with a variety of funding stakeholders.
As such, she will manage staff and
volunteers in planning and executing
agency-wide sponsorship, capital,
endowment, and planned giving programs.
Hradil will also be responsible for
securing grants from government agencies,
private foundations and corporations
that provide education and arts funding.
Hradil most recently served as the
Director of Development and Marketing
at the Friends of the Rosamond Gifford
Zoo. Prior to that she was Director
of Development at the Syracuse Opera
Company.
Hradil
is a graduate of Leadership Greater
Syracuse, and was honored as one
of Central New York’s “40 Under 40” in
2006. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals,
and Vice President on the Board of Directors of the George & Rebecca
Barnes Foundation.
