Here are steps you can take to be listed as a teaching artist with PAE:
1. Fill out theTeaching Artist Profile.
If you find the profile a bit daunting, please remember that you don't necessarily have to answer every question. Just fill out the parts that apply to you.
2. Talk to us.
Call us at 315 234 9911 or email us to schedule an appointment to come in and talk with us about what you do, what you'd like to do, and what we can do to help you. If coming in is not practical, we may be able to meet over the phone.
3. Consider professional development.
There is training available to help you become an excellent teaching artist. PAE is presenting an Artist Educator Workshop Series beginning in September. The CommonGround annual conference brings together professionals in the field from around New York State and beyond.
4. Explore resources for teaching artists.
