1. Can I
register right now?
YES! We recommend
you peruse the schedule
of workshops first, to get
an idea of what you'd like to do
at the conference, then register.
Registration is entirely online,
and takes just a few mintues You'll
be able to print out your entire
schedule. You can pay your registration
by check or by credit card via
Paypal.
2. What
about my hotel room?
Attendees book their own hotel
rooms.
You can stay at the Rochester
Hyatt Regency, where the conference
is held. The deadline has passed
for the special conference rate,
but you can still book a room at
their regular price. For
a lower cost
option, we suggest you try the Clarion
Riverside Hotel, which
is across the street from the Hyatt,
and is connected to it by a skyway.

3. Who
are the keynote speakers?
As usual we will have: one education
specialist to enlighten us on
critical
& current practices (Tara
M. Brown); one arts-in-education
specialist to share a significant
message about our collaborative work
(Arnold
Aprill);
and one artistic specialist to make
our hearts beat and renew our passions(Mt.
Morris's Strong as Steel with Glenn
McClure). Read

5. We cannot get to Rochester
this year; where will CommonGround
be in 2008?
CommonGround 2008 will be April 9
- 11 in Albany at the Crowne Plaza.
6. Can I get space to set
up a display about my program?
Display tables in
the main conference-level lobby,
which include electricity and wireless
internet connection, can be reserved
as part of the registration process.
7. Who designs
the workshops?
YOU do! We rely on all of the brilliant
experts in New York State to refer
to our conference
strands and get
those proposals
to us by November 17.
8. Are
scholarships available?
$10,000 in Technical Assistance Program scholarships are
available from PAE again this year. Deadlines are December 1 and February
1.
