New school and art partners
are introduced to meaningful ways
to effect change in their communities.
When a new cultural
partner begins a school residency
program it is often because a few teachers,
parents, or a principal “get
it” and want IT in their school
community. The few partners
who begin this process can feel exhausted
by their efforts and are at a loss
to exhibit and measure student or
school “success” through
the lens of the arts. In this
workshop Rotunda Gallery will share
its methods and efforts at deepening
new and existing partnerships through
the exhibition and consistent presence
of student work.
