Two poems by Allie

TAINTED LOVE
On again, off again
Destroying
the feeling
Kisses inject poison
Hugs embrace
your soul
The memories rot in the
garbage can
The
spark is put out
By a blanket
of anxiety
And
a blow of separation
I
Regret
Nothing
I
might be just another girl
But
you're just a line in a poem
UNTITLED
The never ending hunger
Like seeds
that do not grow
Twisting my insides
Will I ever know?
A reunion every
weekend
My hand lost in my pocket
Hugged by
the denim and cotton
My heart is a
time bomb
I dare you to make it explode
The
reward is beckoning me
Desiring to
experience
Peace and harmony
Forever it seems
Holding out on history
Putting my
heart in sweet jeopardy
Quitting is
not in my vocabulary
I'm frozen
in time
But I haven't
lost
What is mine
Oh,
to be the victim
Of your lovely crime
