School
Arts Partnerships (SAP) is a state-wide
re-granting program administered by
Partners for Arts Education (PAE).
SAP provides matching funds for artists
and/or cultural organizations to partner
with schools to support arts-in-education
projects. Through collaborative planning
and teaching, educators and teaching
artists will create
NYS Learning Standards-based curricula
that focus on the interdisciplinary
and/or integrated study of arts and
non-arts subjects. The applicants
of record will be both the school
and the artist and/or cultural organization.
Funding decisions are made by an independent
panel and based on the guidelines
and criteria outlined in the application.
We offer help! Partners for
Arts Education has expertise and
experience in providing professional
development, assessment models, project
support,
& NYS Standards curriculum integration
for Arts in Education. PAE staff
are available to consult on application
guidelines. Call us at 315.234.9911,
or email
Sue Stonecash.
