PAE ~ TAP ~ NYS
Partners for Arts Education (PAE) Technical Assistance Program
for
CommonGround 2006 Arts in Education Conference

April 5, 6, 7, 2006

In Collaboration with: New York State Education Department, New York State Alliance for
Arts Education, Association of Teaching Artists, New York Foundation on the Arts, and
Empire State Partnerships.


APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Proposals are for CommonGround 2006 registration fees, hotel lodging, travel (60+ miles from Rochester) & substitute teacher expenses.
• Amount requested may not exceed $350 per person.
• All TAP CG06 recipients are required to participate in an evaluation session at the conference.
• All TAP CG06 recipients must be NYS residents, 18 years or older and not matriculated in a full-time degree program.

TAP CG06 WILL NOT SUPPORT:
• applicants with overdue final reports on previous PAE projects.
• proposals for activities not associated with CommonGround 2006.
• multiple applications. Applicants may submit only one TAP CG06 request. (Applicants may still receive one other TAP award per funding year September 1 – August 31).

GENERAL CRITERIA
Applications are reviewed on the following conditions:
• demonstration of professional and financial need.
• quality of benefit to applicant as provided by the opportunity.
• applicant’s ability to address the integration of learning into the arts education program and extent to which the experience will be applied to sustained programming.

Organizations that are already funded for NYSCA ESP, LCB, and Roundtable programs may want to check with program coordinator to see if funds have been budgeted for CommonGround.
