Success & Outcomes
Success will be met and
measured when we strengthen the cultural
partners to education in CNY and
build capacity for PAE to better
serve the needs of those partnerships.
We will measure effectiveness by
meeting and assessing the following
goals:
Fund Cultural Organizations
for Stronger Education Plans
Increase
PAE funding to cultural organization
partnerships (currently 15%, goal
is 30% 06-07, 40% 07-08).
Increase
Syracuse cultural organization
applications for NYSCA ESP school
reform funding (at least three
in 06-07).
Measuring tools include: Reporting
from actual funding, reporting
from NYSCA, staff
reporting from consulting with
cultural organizations as they
prepare NYSCA proposals in
March 2007.
Train the Next Generation
of AIE Personnel with Proven Best
Practices
Increase in
Syracuse cultural organization attendance
at CommonGround (currently less
than 3%, target 6%).
Increase
in CNY cultural organizations training
for education staff, or increase
in hiring of any education staff.
Measuring tools include: Program
reporting from CommonGround presenters
and attendees, cultural organization
evaluation in June 2007 in tandem
with advisory, evaluation, and
partnership teams.
Sustain Resources and Technical
Support for Longevity
Increase
in CNY cultural organizations that
hire teaching artists.
Establishment
of AIE funding/implementation rubrics
at local foundations and in Syracuse
City Schools.
Measuring tools include: cultural
organization evaluation in June
2007 in tandem with advisory, evaluation,
and partnership teams and a special
evaluation for Gifford, CNYCF,
CRC, and SCSD.
Empower Education Partners
to Plan Curriculum with Cultural
Partners
School access
to cultural organizations is unified
through a PAE mechanism that arises
from recommendations.
Sustained integration
of curriculum and arts learning
is captured in six or more partnership
analyses on PAE website.
Measuring tools include: specific
partnership reports, special evaluation
for the SCSD in tandem with advisory,
evaluation, and partnership teams. |
