Arts
Ed Roundtable Rescheduled
April's Arts Ed Roundtable has been rescheduled to
Thursday,
May 20, 3:30 - 5 pm.
The
Schweinfurth
Memorial
Art
Center
(http://www.cayuganet.org/smac/) welcomes
Lauren Unbekant
as she offers an overview for teachers
of the opportunities for partnerships
between school communities and teaching
artists of all disciplines. The future for arts-in-education is bright,
and this gathering will allow all
to share that vision and consider
ways to bring a partnership into Cayuga
County
schools.
If you, as a representative
of your school community, are interested
in arts-in-education programs, funding
for partnerships, or further resources
regarding the field of arts in education
in Cayuga County, as well as networking
with others who have developed successful
projects or are looking to, this is
a way to feed your inquiry, as well
as learn more about the Schweinfurth
education programs.
Visit the Partners for
Arts Education web site for more information
about programs within Central New York as well as statewide resources: www.arts4ed.org
